Took a short trip out to Delle last weekend to get a little seat time in before the Knolls KO. Weather was surprisingly nice and the track was in great shape all things considered. I had about a dozen guys on Yamahas out there from the neighborhood, plus my son on his new to him KTM 65. One of the guys took some cool photos including a few with the "MotoUtah" bus in the background, so I thought I'd share.

There were a lot of guys out there, but most were out riding in the desert. Many of them were desert guys with black number plates. Everyone was cool, including a couple of kids out there practicing for the desert race on a 65 and an 85 came right up to us when we pulled up and invited my son out to ride. They rode together and even helped him when he crashed one time. Very cool I thought.

My son ran 2 and 1/2 tanks through that 65 in about 5 hours of continuous riding. His clutch hand was all blistered up in the first few mins, but he still rode all day. Funny how these kids love it. My daughter ran all day also, but of course that TTR barely used a 1/2 a tank of gas. Gotta love those TTRs. We'll be putting lighter clutch springs in the KTM tonight.

Enjoy the photos. Hope to see some of you guys out at the Knolls this weekend. Getting nervous for our first desert race! We've got new number plates to put on the bikes before the race too, so keep an eye out for the 606b on the 65.

Yeah, I know

We'll come by and say hi for sure. Hopefully there will be room for us somewhere near the FAST pits. I hear you have pretty wild pit parties though!

Awesome pics Dane and I'm really really glad to see the ol' 962 out there still ripping around I'd put those stock clutch springs back in and that should help. I also bought the lightest weight fork oil I could find to try and soften up Josh's clutch on his 200 and it helped a little bit.

We'll be out to Knolls on Friday night with the family and trailer along with several other of the "FAST Racing" families so come on over and find a spot if you want. Maybe if Benji sees his old bike out there racing it will spur him on a bit. He's had some cold feet about racing since his get off in Mesquite.

Just wondering is Delle free to ride at, do I need to sign a waiver or anything, cause that looks like a nice little place to get out to and ride around for a bit instead of going to the all the way to the Knolls. Just wondering

It is free. It's just a little track on some private ground, but the land owner allows anyone to ride. Just cleanup any trash and try to keep it nice so we can keep riding out there. I think the land owner owns the gas station, so be sure to buy some gas or munchies from the gas station there.

Personally, I'd much rather drive the extra 30 mins to the Knolls, but when you're in a hurry, it's a great little stop.

It was free last year but you have to paypall This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it $800.00 to fix the track up this year =) JK
