Hey guys,
I'm a 34 year old VET A XC racer from Oregon. Just moved to Draper two days ago and looking forward to racing the dez this summer. I'm a dedicated trail rider as well and hoping to hook up with some local riders and learn the area.
Frank

Frank,

I'm new here too since Sep...you're gonna love riding in UT. I can't wait until the weather clears up. Welcome to the area hope to see you around.

Welcome Frank. I'm a Vet A XC racer myself and dedicated trail rider. I'm "semi-retired" focusing more on my kids riding/racing this year, but still do a lot of riding with them as much as time and budget permits.

We don't ride the Dez much here in the summer....starting now until about May is the prime time for Dez riding and then resuming in the Fall. Summer is for the high-country.

The racing season has already kicked off with the second big race of the season this Saturday. Get involved, ask questions, and you'll soon find lots of guys and gals to show you the area.
Mike

Welcome to the fold NOOB, looking forward to meeting & riding with you sometime...we'll have to work on removing all of those trees up there in Oregon from your memory and introduce you to the Utah red rock & sage brush!

Astoria area, I spent most of my weekends in The Burn (TSF) though. I already miss Trask, but I look forward to exploring the these beautiful mountains.

Well Little Moab was clear up until yesterday. Not sure if they got the same 12" of snow I got in my yard.

Welcome to Utah and motoutah. I am originally for Oregon-the Portland area. I have lived here for 20 years, and find it a great place to ride. Five mile pass, Delle, and Knolls, I think are good places to jet. But a desert race is going on this weekend at Knolls. But maybe a good time to see how we do it here. You're going to use more tires here, hard desert and rocks verus mud from Oregon!!

Just rode with Frank yesterday out at 5MP.

Great guy. If you all have a chance to ride with Frank do it.

Sorry you couldn't make it today--the weather was perfect! Although Steve's ride was cut short at 2 hrs by a front flat tire, it was great nonetheless.

I'm planning to ride Thursday. Can you make it, Frank? I'm flexible about the time. I just need to know so I can rearrange meetings as necessary.
