Hey everybody,
I will officially be living in UT tomorrow afternoon. I am super psyched! I'll be living with some friends in Park City area and am hoping to get some riding in on Mon-Labor Day. Not sure where to go, and would love if someone was headed out and wouldn't mind making a new riding buddy. I have read about AF Canyon, and those trails seem to be exactly what I love. Except that they seem to be under fire from the non-moto public, which I don't love. So a couple of q's to go along with that:
Is there a local riding group to join?
What is the best local/semi local moto representative group to join in order to participate in trail work and riding rights?
Who wants to either let me know where to go on Mon, or meet up for a ride?
Thanks! I'm looking forward to a new chapter and some great experiences out in Utah!!

Welcome to UT, AF is good riding and not the only place under fire, everywhere is. Forest service has a volunteer day next Sat 9/11 and you can get on list for future work days. Were hitting the Arapeen on Saturday if want to come. PM me if your interested. welcome aboard.

Welcome to Utah. It's nice to see an attitude of giving back and a willingness to work on the service projects. There are several good clubs around to join. Good luck.

Thanks to all of you! Sorry for the delay, I moved into town, went to a friends wedding in Kamas, and just like that, work has me on the road for the next 3 weeks! BUT, can't wait to get back. I'm a field sales rep for Native Eyewear, so I travel a lot. Which is nice, because I can take the bike a lot of times.
I'm super psyched to be living in UT. It just cut my commute to good times by about 1,000%. Thanks for the info on the groups to join. I have an issue and a bit of a temper when it comes to land use/mixed use management/non-management. SO, I like to try to keep that constructive. I'll get in touch with those folks when I get back into town.

And to everyone that offered to take me out and show me around. Thanks in advance. I WILL be taking you up on the offer.

OH, and I love my 2 stroke. I had a YZ426 and I rode it like a 2 stroke...It blew up!
