MotoUtah: Motocross and Off-Road Riding in Utah

Just a reminder. It won't surprise me if this is the last one EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would hate to see them stop doing them but the turnout has been low.

Is this the last one of the series this year? I know a few dedicated parents that just absolutely love these races! We sure had a good time for 2-3 years there!!! The year end awards are un atched by any other series! We choose to race desert this year and to many dates conflicted or we would have chased the series! They do a great job down there and we respect all that they have done for youth racers over the years!

This is the last one for this year. There will be 2 U.S.R.A races there this fall.

I don't know if they are doing year-end awards or keeping track of points this year because of the late start and low turn-out. I'm just appreciative of what they have been willing to do this year.

As far as it being the last one for ever.....THAT IS JUST MY FEELINGS/CONCERN....NOT INFO FROM THE LARSEN'S.

It has been a great experience for our family for the last six or so years but with the economy the way it is and all the scheduling conflicts, people have to atleast cover most of their expenses.

We AT CEMA are getting Prices peewee track reworked and groomed and we are thinking about a peewee series!We might be interested in starting a series with Blair,run it by him and see what his thoughts are and let me know.

We enjoyed huntingtons YOUTH series because it was 50-85 only! It was more fun because it was kids only and didn't have to wait around all day for big bikes. They also offered a lot more classes then a normal type MX because they could only as it wa only youth racers =)
There was also great focus on the kids, awards and making it fun!

We just got home from the race in Huntington today, it was a good day and a nice turn out. as usual the kids had a blast and the Larsen's and the anouncer and staff did an awesome job!!!! They anounced that that they will be having the USRA races in Sept and Oct. and they are planning another pee wee race at the end of September. I hope that they do becausse we love the races there.
