Hey, everyone don't wait to get your entry in, we are over half full. There were over 50 entries in the mail box the other day. We figure by next week we will be full and starting a waiting list.

Hey guys I don't have the books with me here in Panaca. I would say if you sent your entry last week you are probably fine. I will check tomarrow and see how many spots are left. Check with your bank and see if your check has cleared. That will tell you if your entry has been processed.

I'll post an update tomarrow

This is my favorite race in the USRA circuit.. I hope/pray for wet dirt.. This year I know of some very fast works guy's who are going to be in it to win it!! I think this will be one of the best years just because of the route that they are taking this year.. I have heard from some of my friends that are mapping out the course that they are trying to stay off the fire roads and stick to lots of single track... Fun,, fun,, fun!!!!

Just crossing fingers at this time, watching for a cleared check to confirm I'm in. I assume the race is about full since we were at 50 spaces mid-week. It's too bad about the limit on this thing...or maybe that's part of what makes it a unique race?? I personally know of 3 other guys that would be attending but couldn't commit for another week or so. So I have to assume that this time of year, being St George, there would easily be another 100 riders.

Any word on the race being full? I would imagine with the weekend's mail it would be close.

It is full and there is a waiting list. Laurie will contact you if your on the waiting list.

Rob went and started marking course this last weekend and said it was a blast. It even got him thinking about racing again.

I don't know why he wouldn't... it's in the water out there! You've got to have the fastest desert racers per capita over anywhere else.

Re:Rhino Rally 2010!!!! 1 year, 11 months ago #93175

I've never been out to Warner Valley area but I'll be taking the kid camping for a few days ahead of the race. Any problems pulling a camping trailer out to where the race will start? It's nothing big but don't want to be surprised.

I think I've heard that the pit will be in a different location this year, correct?

I'll be staying with family in SE part of St George (not far from Washington Fields Road I think it's called??), and then I could take Warner Valley Road. Or will I still be better off going North to Hurricane, then South the 14 miles?? I've only been in the area once, so maybe I'm underestimating the terrain?

Thanks
