My wife & her friend are running in the Moab ½ marathon on Saturday for the second time. Do I need to get the kids in the off road riding class that Utah has? Where do I find one at? How much is the ticket if I get busted? The kids will range from 11 to 6 & there will be two ladies on 4 wheelers.

I was also wondering if I could get some ideas on where to ride with the kids & wife fro two days. I think we will be staying in Green river or Moab on Wednesday & Thursday nights. We have a house rented for Friday night in Moab for the race. We have been on Slick rock & Gemini bridges trails in the past. Most of the kids on the bikes are good little riders & can handle a lot. I am little worried about the ladies on the 4 wheelers as both of them will be packing toddlers. Either green river area & or Moab will be great. Thanks for the help in advance.

good places to ride are anywhere between the moab airport and the gemini bridges parking lot.Left or right side of the road there are many roads and trails, get a trailmap from mad bro sports or moab yamaha shop,or walker drugstore. You can park right by the gas station by gemini bridges gas up get snacks ect...also if you turn west after the airport going south go a mile or so and there are some huge power lines right before the lines is a little mx track that is perfect for kids and also there a endless trails west of the power lines.you will see when you get there, there is some sand ,slickrock, lots of cool trails and you can ride to that gas station and fuel up and come back its all connected and pretty self explainatory. Have fun make sure to ride on the right side of trails since you never know when someone in one of those utvs or jeeps may come speeding around the corner.
