MotoUtah: Motocross and Off-Road Riding in Utah

Do you need a license to ride at the public tracks? If so where do you obtain these? Thanks.

no i dont think you need a license. you'll just have to pay to get in

Depends on the track. I'm pretty sure public tracks like Jordan River require kids 8-16 to have a permit. Other than that, I don't think it matters. Private tracks don't require it either.

You do need to have your bike registered.

Yeah yeah yeah all my bikes are registered i just need to know if i need to take like a saftey class to ride at public tracks and to race.. Ya knowww?

print off the waiver and have your parents sign it and take with ya

If you're 16 and have your driver's license, you don't need to take the youth education course. See:

so to ride at the Jordan river track this saturday my younger brothers that are under 16 will need to take an online safety course?
