Nothing official about where he's going, but the really strong rumor is he is in serious talks with KTM. What will the KTM haters say when The Man leads The Orange to a Championship?

He probably got tired of fighting for money to continue running its factory mx operation. This I would imagine opens the door for Suzuki to outsource their brand to several different teams and to some degree separates them from direct association of the riders. I'd have to think they are going to a model like the teams in Europe and Japan. I wonder where Dungey will end up.

I listened to a live interview with DeCoster last night on an internet moto webcast. DeCoster’s contract with Suzuki is up at the end of the year. He wanted a three year deal, but due to financial concerns Suzuki would only offer him a one year deal. He confirmed that he is in serious talks with KTM. It sounds like there is a very good chance he will end up there.

Bummer! Sounds like he is gone...what a shame.

It will be interesting to see if he can help KTM and deal with the Alessi family again. If my memory serves me, it seems like he got along with Mike quite well it's just that father of his.....

I think Suzuki is very short sighted with allowing RD to leave. He has done so much for them over the years and he only has 3 years left. Bad move on their part.
