How many of you guy are going next weekend i am taking my kids to try it out so we can compare to the wintercross series

its climate controlled,warm and ventilated thats all the comparing i need!VROOM!

being 5 minutes from my house i'm in.what time does it start on sat. are they having a sportsman class for us old guys

I'm taking my kids as well for both Friday night and Saturday. I'm hoping they will race the kids in the AM on Saturday and big bikes in the afternoon.

My kids are riding in the Heads Up and the CRF 50 classes.

There is a flyer up on the website saltcityax.blogspot.com it has the times on there now. Friday practice is like 10-2 race at 4 or 5 if I remember correctly.
Saturday no practice. Kids race at 1 and big bike at 4 or 5. Just going off memory because our stupid work computers block that web page .

I heard Danny Magoo Chandler is gonna be there doing a school. Sat AM and hanging out signing Autorgraphs. That should be a treat for us old timers that remember him kicking a*^ back in the 80s. Should be a real cool race plus the chance to hang out with Magoo would be awesome. I know ill be there

Sat says no practice, but I assume you will be having at least a pre-race practice for sighting laps...Anyone know?

I asked Jeff that question the other day and he did confirm a short pre-race practice. It sounds like there just won't be an Open Practice on Saturday.

Seb Tortelli will be here the 2nd round of the Action Profiles Salt City Arenacross doing a class Thursday afternoon and saturday morning. cost is $150.00 per class for 3 hrs with a 2 time mx world champion reserve your spot limited space is available. you can either PM me or sign up next week at the races.

My Buddy Rene called i guess he went and checked out the track and is way excitted! He says its a lot bigger then he thought and the track looks killer!

I just had a peek at it. They are building a 60' table right now. They have a rythm section roughed in with a double, double, double or triple, triple option. The triples are pretty big, probably only pros doing them.

New venue, new series, and the track looks fun. I hope I can get a weekend off to come try it out. Funny though how this is a brand new series but yet they decide to hold their first race on Thansgiving weekend? Isn't there already 2 races scheduled for that weekend or was I thinking of something else. Mesquite, Moab, now Farmington? Look I am not hating on the race, but does anyone look at the schedule? Why would anyone do that. Most everyone is going to Mesquite, and maybe those few from the SLC area that had decided to go to either Moab or Mesquite, will now stay and race closer to home. I dont blame them I would to. Thats why I am not going to Mesquite or Farmington. With as much backlash Moab has taken, whether it be the weather, the track, or what happened at the last race in Moab, I just hope some people show up to our race. Happy Thanksgiving!

This question was hammered pretty hard on here when the series was announced. You can look back at those threads, but it seems like it boiled down to the availability of the facility. It's a bummer to have multiple races on the same weekend, but I don't know too many guys that can afford more than once race per month anyway. I just hope there are enough racers to keep them all viable because it's great to have more to choose from.

I have friends involved with both arenacross series, so I'm not taking sides. I rode the track tonight and it was a blast! Lots of great obstacles for every skill level and the dirt is awesome. Hope everyone comes out and supports this series as well as Wintercross.

I've been out of town all weekend and wasn't able to go to the race. How did it turn out? Who all raced? How was the facility?
